As much as the restrictions that COVID-19 has brought suck, the one amazing thing it has given us is a sense of community even though we are all apart.

Ardent Craft Ales in Scott's Addition has opened a food bank for restaurant workers that have been let go, furloughed, or are suffering from reduced hours. The food bank has been created with the help of Sysco, The Holli Fund, and Digital Minerva.

The online orders are free and can be picked up from Ardent's taproom from 2p-8p Tuesday-Sunday. Sysco will be donating a number of grocery items and they are also accepting shelf-stable donations to help support the program. Financial support comes from The Holli Fund, a local organization that provides grants to restaurant workers when they fall on hard times. You can donate to the Holli Fund HERE.
